How to become a Moderator

When you register with us you are normally admitted as a Crossword Designer. This mean you can design your own templates and games. You can take the games with to publish elsewhere.

However, in order to publish with us you will have to have one of our moderators approve your design.

The task of the moderator is to go over the design and check for obscenities, typographic or punctuation errors, missing or incorrect words or clues. The moderator checks the words are legitimate English words and that they do answer the corresponding clue. In essence, the moderator is your editor, and will be allowed to place his or her name as the editor of your puzzle.

The moderator you get is randomly selected from one of our moderators. So you cannot tell in advance who is it going to be.

You too can become a moderator by asking to be one. We can only support a few moderators so act now. Of course we would greatly appreciate a donation to help support our site.
