Designer Navigation

The Designer uses a similar navigation system as the Player. However, there are differences due to the fact that the crossword grid in the Designer is editable by you.

As in the Player, you can tab from one word to the next (or previous) one. However, since the layout is not fixed as in the Player, the tabbing order is simply the next (previous) word on the same row (or column depending on the direction of the word).

You can use the mouse to locate a square and then double click on that square to toggle that square from letter to block, and vice-versa. Additionally, pressing Control B will achieve the same result.

A double click on an Across clue moves the focus to the corresponding word for editing. As in the Player, the selected word has the same orientation as the clue, so double clicking on a Down clue selects the corresponding Down word.

Pressing Control E while editing a square moves the focus to the corresponding clue. As previously described, the clue in the same orientation is selected.
